ACM Honors™ Set for August 20th Celebration in Nashville

The Academy of Country Music® has announced that the 18th Academy of Country Music Honors™ will take place on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at The Pinnacle in Nashville. This highly anticipated event will celebrate the recipients of the ACM Industry Awards and Studio Recording Awards for the 60th Academy of Country Music Awards™.

Industry and Studio Recording Award Winners Recognized

Among the distinguished honorees are those recognized for their significant contributions to the country music industry. Ed Warm is set to receive his 19th ACM Industry Award, marking a career milestone. Warm secured wins in two prominent categories: Club of the Year for Joe’s on Weed St. and Festival of the Year for the Windy City Smokeout. His consistent recognition underscores his enduring impact on the live country music scene.

The Studio Recording Awards also highlight exceptional talent behind the scenes and on the instruments. This year’s ceremony will honor several first-time recipients in these crucial technical and performance categories. Drew Bollman has been recognized as Audio Engineer of the Year, Alex Wright as Piano/Keyboards Player of the Year, and Craig Young as Bass Player of the Year. Their inaugural awards signify a significant achievement in their respective fields.

Further celebrating excellence in studio craftsmanship, Dave Cobb is set to receive his seventh ACM Award for Producer of the Year. This award further cements his status as one of country music’s most influential producers. Brent Mason, a consistently celebrated musician, will secure his twelfth Studio Recording Award for Electric Guitar Player of the Year, demonstrating his unparalleled skill and sustained excellence on his instrument.

Honoring a Spectrum of Talent

These celebrated individuals will join previously announced honorees Lainey Wilson, who earned the Artist-Songwriter of the Year award, and Jessie Jo Dillon, recognized as Songwriter of the Year. The collective group represents a broad spectrum of talent, from artists and songwriters to the vital industry professionals and studio musicians who shape the sound of country music.

Special Awards and Ticket Information

The Academy of Country Music is also preparing to announce its ACM Special Award honorees. The recipients in these special categories were scheduled to be revealed on July 9, 2025, adding further anticipation to the upcoming Honors™ event.

Fans and industry members eager to attend the 18th ACM Honors™ can plan their attendance with the release of ticket information. An exclusive pre-sale for ACM A-List subscribers and Academy members began on July 10. Following the pre-sale, general public ticket sales commenced on July 11, available through AXS. Specific details regarding performers for the event are expected to be unveiled in the coming weeks, promising a star-studded lineup of performances celebrating the honorees.

A New Venue and Enhanced Format

Damon Whiteside, CEO of the Academy of Country Music, expressed significant enthusiasm about hosting the ACM Honors™ at The Pinnacle. He highlighted the venue as an exciting new location for the event and teased the introduction of new partnerships and an elevated format for the 2025 celebration. “We are thrilled to bring the 18th Academy of Country Music Honors™ to The Pinnacle,” Whiteside stated. “This year’s event promises to be a memorable occasion, celebrating the incredible individuals who contribute so significantly to country music. We’ve worked hard to create an enhanced experience for our members and fans, and we can’t wait to share what we have in store.”

The 18th Academy of Country Music Honors™ promises to be a night dedicated to recognizing the diverse talents and hard work that define the country music landscape, from the artists who grace the stage to the dedicated professionals who ensure its continued success.
