CMA Fest 2025 Ignites Nashville with Star-Studded Performances and Record Crowds

Nashville, TN – CMA Fest 2025 transformed Music City into the epicenter of country music from June 5–8, drawing an immense gathering of artists and fans for an unforgettable celebration. The annual festival, renowned for showcasing the genre’s most celebrated figures alongside emerging talents, delivered over 250 performances across nine stages strategically located throughout the city, from the iconic Nissan Stadium to vibrant venues along the Cumberland River.

A Fiery Opening Night

The festivities commenced on Thursday night with a powerful lineup that set a high bar for the days to come. Country music titans Jason Aldean and Brooks & Dunn headlined the opening evening, delivering electrifying sets that had the massive crowd on their feet. Darius Rucker also graced the stage, further igniting the passionate audience with his signature blend of country and soul.

Mid-Festival Highlights and Surprise Collaborations

Friday proved to be another banner day at CMA Fest, with a diverse array of artists captivating attendees. Global superstar Keith Urban showcased his signature guitar prowess and energetic stage presence. Rising star Kelsea Ballerini captivated the audience with her performance, including a highly anticipated duet with Noah Kahan, marking a memorable cross-genre collaboration. Shaboozey, who has been making significant waves in the music scene, not only delivered his own set but also joined Jelly Roll on stage for a rousing rendition of their hit song “Amen.” Parker McCollum also contributed to the day’s stellar performances, rounding out a Friday lineup that celebrated both established and rapidly ascending artists.

Saturday’s Country Powerhouses

Saturday night’s main stage at Nissan Stadium pulsed with the energy of country music royalty. Blake Shelton, a consistent fan favorite, delivered a performance filled with his chart-topping hits. Megan Moroney brought her fresh sound and undeniable charisma to the stage, while the legendary group Rascal Flatts reunited to deliver a set filled with their beloved ballads and anthems. Jordan Davis, known for his heartfelt lyrics and relatable storytelling, also captivated the audience. The Red Clay Strays concluded the night’s main events with their distinctive blend of country, rock, and gospel, leaving a lasting impression.

A Grand Finale

The CMA Fest 2025 concluded on Sunday night with a spectacular closing lineup that featured some of country music’s most beloved artists. Luke Bryan, a perennial CMA Fest headliner, energized the crowd with his party-starting anthems. Dierks Bentley brought his energetic stage presence and a catalog of fan-favorite songs. Ashley McBryde, celebrated for her raw talent and powerful vocals, delivered a performance that resonated deeply with the audience, providing a fitting and memorable conclusion to four days of unparalleled country music entertainment. The festival once again affirmed its status as a must-attend event for country music enthusiasts, celebrating the genre’s rich history and promising future.
