Under The Big Sky Festival 2025 Unveils Star-Studded Country, Americana Lineup

Camila CruzCamila CruzJuly 14, 20252 Minutes read

The much-anticipated Under The Big Sky festival has officially announced its 2025 dates and an impressive lineup, solidifying its reputation as a premier destination for fans of Country, Americana, and Roots music. Scheduled to take place from July 18-20, 2025, at the scenic Big Mountain Ranch, the festival promises three days of electrifying performances from some of the genre’s most celebrated artists.

Headliners Take Center Stage

Leading the charge for the 2025 edition are genre titans Tyler Childers, Mumford & Sons, and the rapidly rising The Red Clay Strays. These headliners are set to deliver unforgettable sets, drawing on their extensive catalogs and growing fan bases.

A Rich Tapestry of Talent

The festival’s commitment to showcasing a diverse range of talent is evident in the supporting acts. Fans can look forward to performances from country music icon Wynonna Judd, the distinctive sound of Shane Smith & The Saints, and the viral sensation Oliver Anthony. Also featured prominently are emerging stars Dylan Gossett, Wyatt Flores, actor-turned-musician Luke Grimes, Hailey Whitters, the gritty honky-tonk of Whitey Morgan and the 78’s, and the folk-rock sensibilities of Houndmouth.

Further enriching the musical landscape, the festival will host performances by Canadian country music legend Corb Lund, the soulful Noeline Hofmann, acclaimed songwriter Brent Cobb, and emerging artists Willow Avalon, Maggie Antone, and Kade Hoffman. The comprehensive roster ensures a blend of established legends and the next generation of musical innovators.

Daily Schedule and Stage Breakdown

Under The Big Sky festival is known for its meticulous organization, providing attendees with detailed set times and stage allocations. While a full day-by-day breakdown is available, early details confirm that doors will open to welcome festival-goers each day, ready to immerse themselves in the music. Friday, July 18th, for instance, will feature a robust schedule across the Great Northern Stage and the Big Mountain Stage. The day’s performances will include sets from the Tobacco River Ramblers, Kade Hoffman, Bones Owens, Corb Lund, Shane Smith & The Saints, and The Red Clay Strays. Other artists gracing the stages on this opening day are Buffalo Traffic Jam, Dani Rose, Crowe Boys, Hogslop String Band, The Brothers Comatose, and Oliver Anthony.

Looking Back at a Successful 2024

The announcement builds upon the significant success of the 2024 installment of Under The Big Sky. Last year’s festival was headlined by country superstar Miranda Lambert, bluegrass phenom Billy Strings, and the beloved Turnpike Troubadours. The 2024 lineup also featured a strong showing from artists such as Charles Wesley Godwin, Sierra Ferrell, Kaitlin Butts, Sam Barber, Tanner Usrey, Pony Bradshaw, and the powerhouse duo Brothers Osborne, setting a high bar for the upcoming year.

Tickets for the 2025 Under The Big Sky festival are expected to be in high demand, with further information on ticketing tiers and on-sale dates anticipated soon. Fans are encouraged to stay updated through official festival channels to secure their passage to what promises to be another unforgettable weekend of music under the expansive Montana sky.
