Lukas Nelson Charts ‘American Romance Tour’ This Fall, Supporting Latest Album

Rohan JoshiRohan JoshiJuly 22, 20252 Minutes read

Lukas Nelson is set to embark on his extensive “American Romance Tour,” kicking off on September 13 and running through October 31. The highly anticipated tour will traverse numerous cities across the United States, including significant stops in Austin, Dallas, Little Rock, Philadelphia, Detroit, and Chicago, with additional dates yet to be announced.

A New Chapter in Nelson’s Journey

The tour serves as a musical exploration of Nelson’s latest album, “American Romance,” which was released last month via Sony Music Nashville. This new body of work delves into the experiences and reflections of life on the road, a theme that has resonated throughout Nelson’s career. The album itself features notable collaborations, including contributions from fellow artists Sierra Ferrell and Stephen Wilson Jr., adding layers of diverse vocal and instrumental texture to the project.

Special Guests and Fan Engagement

Fans attending the “American Romance Tour” can look forward to performances from a curated selection of special guests. Stephen Wilson Jr., The Band Loula, and Laci Kaye Booth are slated to join Nelson on various dates, promising a dynamic and engaging concert experience. The announcement of these supporting acts adds further excitement for concertgoers, highlighting a commitment to showcasing emerging and established talent alongside Nelson.

Tickets for the “American Romance Tour” will be available through a tiered pre-sale system. Fan club members and other eligible groups will have access to pre-sales beginning July 24. Following the pre-sale period, general ticket sales will commence on July 25, making the tour accessible to a wider audience. Fans are encouraged to act quickly once sales open to secure their preferred dates and seating.

Building on a Legacy of Success

This upcoming tour and the “American Romance” album follow a period of significant critical and commercial success for Nelson. His previous album, “Sticks and Stones,” released in 2023, demonstrated considerable staying power on the charts. The album spent an impressive 18 weeks within the top 10 of the Americana Albums chart and achieved the coveted No. 1 position on the Alt Country chart. This sustained presence underscores Nelson’s growing influence and the dedicated fanbase he has cultivated.

Nelson has also recently been in the spotlight for his contributions to notable musical events. He recently performed at the MusiCares 2025 Person of the Year Gala, an event that this year honored the legendary Grateful Dead. His participation in such high-profile events highlights his respected position within the music community and his connection to the broader landscape of American music.

The “American Romance Tour” is poised to be a significant event for Lukas Nelson and his fans, offering a comprehensive presentation of his latest musical endeavors while continuing to celebrate the enduring spirit of live music across the country.
