Northern Kentucky is set to embrace its roots with the inaugural Heart of Country Music Festival, a vibrant celebration of country music, community, and local flavor. Scheduled for Saturday, September 13, 2025, at the Kenton County Fairgrounds in Independence, Kentucky, this exciting new Kentucky music festival promises a full day of entertainment headlined by chart-topping artists Randy Houser and Jake Worthington. The Heart of Country Music Festival aims to become a cornerstone of the region’s cultural landscape, bringing together national stars, emerging talent, and local favorites across two stages.

A Star-Studded Country Music Lineup at the Heart of Country Music Festival

The Heart of Country Music Festival is proud to present a diverse roster of seven standout performers, catering to a wide spectrum of country music enthusiasts. Leading the charge are multi-platinum recording artist Randy Houser and the acclaimed Jake Worthington, who will undoubtedly bring their signature sounds and energetic performances to the main stage. Joining them are rising stars Lauren Watkins and Ashland Craft, who are carving out their own significant space in the country music scene.

Adding to the rich musical tapestry are local favorites Maurice the Music, Derek Alan, and John Morgen, showcasing the homegrown talent that defines the heart of Kentucky’s country music heritage. The live music will flow from noon until 11:00 PM, ensuring a day packed with unforgettable performances and the authentic spirit of country music at this premier country music festival.

Comprehensive Ticketing and Access Options for the Heart of Country Music Festival

Fans eager to experience the inaugural Heart of Country Music Festival have a variety of music festival tickets to choose from, designed to accommodate different preferences and budgets. Tickets are currently on sale, with demand reportedly high as the event approaches.

For those looking for a full-day experience, a GA – Full Day Pass is available for $65, granting access to all stages and performances throughout the day. A step up, the GA Seated Full Day Pass is priced at $75 and offers the added benefit of allowing attendees to bring their own chairs after 5 PM in designated areas, providing a more comfortable viewing experience for the evening’s headliners.

For an elevated experience, the PIT Full Day Pass costs $85 and provides exclusive access to the PIT area directly in front of the Main Stage, offering the closest possible views of the headliners. The premium VIP Full Day Pass is available for $125 and includes a host of exclusive amenities, such as shaded lounge seating, a private bar, private restrooms, and a dedicated viewing area near the Main Stage.

Understanding the importance of family, the festival offers a Kids – Free Day Pass. Children aged 12 and under can enjoy free admission from noon to 5 PM, gaining access to the Day Stage. This initiative also serves a charitable purpose, with proceeds benefiting the local 4-H Program.

A GA – Day Only Pass is available for $25, offering access to daytime performances on the Day Stage until 5 PM, perfect for those who want to soak in the atmosphere and catch earlier acts without staying for the main stage headliners.

More Than Just Music: A Community Celebration at the Heart of Country Music Festival

The Heart of Country Music Festival is designed to be a comprehensive community event, extending far beyond its musical offerings. Attendees can explore a vibrant vendor market featuring over 20 local businesses, offering everything from unique boutiques and vintage finds to band merchandise and artisanal crafts. The festival also boasts an array of food and beverage options, partnering with One Holland and featuring local food trucks, dessert vendors, and specialty drink purveyors to satisfy every craving.

Family-friendly activities will be abundant, including mechanical bulls, oversized yard games, and engaging brand activations with opportunities for demos, giveaways, and photo ops. For those looking to quench their thirst, mini-bars are scattered throughout the grounds, complemented by a pop-up sports bar from Barleycorn’s Brewhouse serving craft beer. The festival is committed to fostering good old-fashioned fun and connection for all attendees at these Independence KY events.

Supporting Local Youth Through the 4-H Program at the Heart of Country Music Festival

A significant aspect of the Heart of Country Music Festival is its commitment to community impact. The proceeds generated from the “Kids – Free Day Pass” will directly support Northern Kentucky’s local 4-H Program. This partnership aims to provide vital opportunities for young people, empowering them to lead, learn, and grow with confidence and shaping brighter futures.

The festival organizers emphasize that country music in Kentucky is more than a genre; it’s a way of life. This inaugural event seeks to capture that spirit, bringing people together for a celebration that honors the region’s musical heritage while building new traditions and fostering community connections. With its compelling lineup, diverse attractions, and charitable focus, the Heart of Country Music Festival is poised to become a highlight of the 2025 music festival calendar.
