Rock the Country Festival Returns to Anderson, SC with Kid Rock & Nickelback Leading All-Star Lineup

Anderson, South Carolina is gearing up to host the highly anticipated return of the Rock the Country festival, an event proudly branded as “A Festival For We The People.” Scheduled for July 25-26, 2025, this two-day music extravaganza will once again descend upon Anderson, marking the final stop on a nationwide tour.

A Powerhouse Headlining Duo

The 2025 edition of Rock the Country boasts a significant draw with country music icon Kid Rock and the acclaimed rock band Nickelback set to co-headline all ten tour stops. This collaboration promises a unique blend of genres and a powerful performance for attendees.

An Extensive Roster of Talent

Beyond the main headliners, the Anderson festival will feature a star-studded lineup catering to a wide range of musical tastes. Fans can expect performances from country music veterans Hank Williams Jr. and Tracy Lawrence, alongside rising star Gavin Adcock. The festival’s robust bill also includes Aaron Lewis and the Stateliners, Shenandoah, Mark Chesnutt, and Sammy Kershaw. Adding to the diverse musical offerings are performances by Little Texas, Hudson Westbrook, Logan Crosby, and the unique sounds of Afroman and the Ying Yang Twins, with DJ sets provided by Dee Jay Silver.

Economic Impact and Community Engagement

Following its successful debut in Anderson, the festival is expected to build on its previous impact. In 2024, Rock the Country attracted approximately 25,000 attendees to the city, contributing an estimated $17 million to the state’s economy. This significant economic boost underscores the festival’s importance as a major event for the region.

Hometown Hero Initiative

Rock the Country continues its commitment to local communities through its “Hometown Hero” campaign. For each market on the tour, including Anderson, residents are invited to nominate individuals who have made exceptional contributions to their communities. These nominated hometown heroes will be recognized with a special VIP experience at the festival, celebrating their service and dedication.

The return of Rock the Country to Anderson, SC, solidifies its place as a premier music destination, bringing together diverse artists and a massive fan base for what is anticipated to be another memorable event.
